Earlier today, TDP MP Kesineni Nani took to social media to declare his resignation from the Telugu Desam Party along with his Lok Sabha seat. He expressed that continuing within the party seemed futile if Chandrababu Naidu perceives no value in his contributions.
Nani confirmed his intention to formally submit his resignation to the Lok Sabha speaker in Delhi and subsequently step down from the TDP.
In response to Nani’s announcement, Prasad V Potluri, YCP leader and Nani’s adversary in the Lok Sabha elections made disparaging remarks about Nani in a tweet. His choice of words on social media faced strong criticism from users, who condemned PVP’s language and demanded that he retract his statements.
