The eminent T20 journey of Rohit Sharma appears to be reaching its conclusion. Reports suggest that Rohit is on the brink of retiring from T20Is and might relinquish his captaincy as well. An official announcement regarding this anticipated decision is expected to surface shortly.
Allegedly, Rohit has conveyed to selectors his willingness to accept not being chosen for T20I games. His last T20I appearance was in the semifinal of the T20 World Cup 2022 against England.
Additionally, indications point towards Rohit potentially stepping down from his captaincy role as the BCCI aims to nurture a young leader for white-ball cricket.
