The Election Commission of India has assigned a common symbol to Sharmila’s YSR Telangana Party, which is represented by a “binoculars” symbol. YSRTP is set to compete in all 119 constituencies in the upcoming Telangana Elections.
Initially, there were speculations that Sharmila might merge YSRTP with the Congress party. However, since the discussions did not yield positive outcomes, Sharmila made the decision to independently contest in all the constituencies within the state.
In the coming days, YSRTP is expected to unveil its list of candidates, and the campaign is set to intensify. The polling for the Telangana elections is scheduled for November 30, with the results slated for release on December 3.
