Hacker Leaks Details Of 81.5 Crore Indians

In a major cybersecurity incident, a hacker reportedly exposed sensitive data of 81.5 crore Indians, including Aadhaar and passport information, on the dark web. This breach was reported by a US-based cybersecurity agency named Resecurity.

The report raises significant concerns about personal data security. The breach not only poses a risk to individual privacy but also underscores the need for stricter safeguards in India’s digital infrastructure.

A hacker with the username ‘pwd001’ disclosed private details about breach forums on October 9. The leaked details include sensitive data like full name, address, father’s name and phone number. Meanwhile, there is no official confirmation from the Government of India regarding this data leak.
