Sree Leela Needs To Learn This Lesson

Young actress Sree Leela made her Telugu debut with the 2021 super hit Pelli SandaD. However, it was the 2022 blockbuster Dhamaka which made her enter the star league. However, despite doing more than half a dozen films in Telugu, Sree Leela is yet to get a career-defining role.

Last year, Sree Leela acted in Skanda, Bhagavanth Kesari, Aadikeshava and Extra Ordinary Man. Barring Bhagavanth Kesari, the rest of the movies just used Sree Leela as a glam doll and showcased her dancing skills. The same is the case with her recent release Guntur Kaaram. If we remove her dancing bits in the film, Sree Leela just remains as a character artist in it.

Except for Bhagavanth Kesari, all other films tanked at the box office. After Dhamaka’s success, Sree Leela signed films on a spree and ended up scoring flops. If she doesn’t focus on author-backed roles, she may end up like Krithi Shetty. If she wants to sustain her stardom like Anushka or Samantha, she needs to balance both glam-doll roles and author-backed characters.
