TDP has announced its first list of candidates along with Jana Sena today. While TDP announced 94 contestants, Jana Sena released a list of five candidates. Speaking to the media during this announcement, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu said that he had never undertaken this kind of exercise in finalizing the candidates.
He stated, “In my entire political career, I have never undertaken such an extensive exercise in candidate selection. Even during the elections in the united Andhra Pradesh, I didn’t engage in such rigorous exercise. This time, I collected information and opinions from 1 crore 10 lakh people through various sources.”
“When embarking on significant endeavours, it is important to make the right decisions from the right information. After meticulously considering everyone’s opinion and thoroughly examining all information, we finalized a list of 94 candidates,” he further added.
