The Telangana TDP is gearing up for the upcoming Assembly elections, with the party’s state president, Kasani Gnaneshwar, holding a meeting with party leaders on Sunday at NTR Bhavan in Hyderabad. During the meeting, he officially announced that the TDP would field candidates in all 119 seats within the state.
Kasani revealed that they have received 190 applications from potential candidates and will soon finalize the official list of contestants. He also stated that he will meet the party’s chief, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, in Raja Mahendravaram on Wednesday, where he will present the list of probable candidates for discussion.
Additionally, Kasani expressed his intention to discuss the possibility of an alliance between the TDP and Jana Sena for the Telangana polls during this meeting.
