Telangana Student Threatens Ambani, Arrested

Mumbai Police arrested a 19-year-old from Telangana, Ganesh Ramesh Vanapardhi, for sending email death threats to Mukesh Ambani, chairman of Reliance Industries Limited, and demanding a ransom of Rs 400 crore.

Vanapardhi Ganesh had sent multiple threatening emails to Ambani and his family members over the past few months, threatening to kill them if the ransom was not paid. The police have increased security around Ambani’s residence in response to the threats.

Following the arrest, a 21-year-old from Gandhinagar, Gujarat, was detained for sending similar threatening emails to Ambani, demanding a ransom. The police are investigating these threats.
