Hero Gopichand, who is in dire need of a big success, is set to test his luck with the new film Bhimaa. The teaser of this action-drama was released a few weeks ago and garnered a good response from the audience. Now, the makers unveiled the film’s theatrical trailer.
Gopichand plays the role of a sincere and ambitious police officer in the movie. Going by the trailer, the film revolves around a place called “Parashurama Kshetram” and how the protagonist turns into a saviour for it. The mythological flavour adds a new twist to this commercial action thriller. If devotion is blended well into commercial aspects, the film can be a winner at the box office.
Gopichand looks stylish in the role and this is a tailor-made character for him. However, the trailer didn’t showcase much of the female leads Priya Bhavani Shankar and Malavika Sharma. Other major characters also didn’t get enough screen time in the trailer. The cinematography and the colour palette add to the film’s genre and Ravi Basrur’s background score is reviting.
On the whole, the premise looks interesting and the film seems to be a mix of mass and devotional elements. Directed by A Harsha, Bheema is slated for a worldwide release on March 8.
