Two Padma Vibhushans In Upasana’s Family

Recently, Megastar Chiranjeevi was awarded with Padma Vibhushan. His family, friends, fans and the entire film fraternity are celebrating this honour. Meanwhile, Chiru’s daughter-in-law Upasana Kamineni Konidela revealed that she now has two Padma Vibhushan awardees in her family.

Upasana’s grandfather and Apollo Hospitals Group’s head C. Prathap Reddy was awarded Padma Vibhushan in 2010. Now, her father-in-law has been honoured with India’s second-highest civilian award.

Sharing both their pictures on social media, Upasana wrote, “Congrats to our inspiration, not just in cinema & philanthropy but in life – as a dad, father-in-law & granddad. honoured & blessed to now have 2 Padma Vibhushan awardees in the Family. My Grandfather Dr Prathap C Reddy & My Father in law Dr Chiranjeevi Konidela.”
