A shocking video has gone viral on social media showing a private bus driver watching the Bigg Boss show on his mobile phone while driving at high speed on a national highway.
The incident reportedly occurred late at night when the bus was travelling at around 80 to 90 kmph. A passenger on board noticed the driver’s behaviour and immediately recorded the video.
The passenger later shared the clip online, saying that such reckless driving is one of the main causes of road accidents. The video quickly spread, sparking widespread anger among netizens.
Social media users criticised the driver for putting passengers’ lives at risk just to watch a TV show. Many demanded strict action against him and urged transport companies to regularly monitor their drivers’ behaviour.
People stressed that drivers must remain fully focused on the road, especially during night journeys when passengers are asleep. This incident serves as a strong reminder that even a moment of distraction can cost lives. Safety must always come first while driving.
