Flying Firefighters On Job

With the advancement in technology, there have been many improvements in tools across various industries, including a major positive development in the public safety sector. Firefighters used to play an important role in public safety, risking their lives to protect people. However, in a viral video from China, we can see how the fire brigade is now using drones to protect people from burning buildings.

In the video, we witness a building engulfed in flames, with around three floors burning ferociously. It would have been extremely challenging for a human team to gain control over the fire. However, two drones equipped with water jets fly near the windows and spray water inside. Within no time, the flames almost subside.

This is a great use of technology in the right direction. Not only can these drones control huge fires, but they also reduce the risk of human casualties. Such advancements are always welcomed, even though they may prove to be more costly than involving people; it is the best way to reduce human risk.
