The incident occurred on Sankranti night, January 15, when the two brothers were drinking together. An argument broke out after the elder brother refused to hand over the glass.
In a fit of anger, the younger brother pushed the elder sibling from the third floor of the building. The fall proved fatal and shocked residents in the area.
Local people rushed to help after hearing the impact and tried to shift the victim to a hospital. However, the elder brother died on the way due to severe injuries.
