A shocking incident has emerged from Hyderabad, where a woman allegedly kidnapped her own husband for ransom. In recent times, crimes involving women as prime accused have increased, and this case has added another disturbing example.
The accused, identified as M Madhavi Latha, planned the kidnapping along with nine others. Their target was her husband, Mantri Shyam. The gang monitored Shyam closely and even rented a flat near his home to track his movements.
They eventually abducted him and took him to Vijayawada, demanding one crore rupees as ransom. However, Shyam managed to escape and informed the police, who swiftly arrested all ten accused individuals.
According to police, the woman planned the crime to gain control over her husband’s property and money. The case has shocked the public and highlights how greed and mistrust can destroy families.
Authorities are continuing their investigation to check if more people were involved in the plan.
