Jio Studios’ Shameful Act Exposed!

In the world of Tamil cinema, anticipation and excitement is often expected with the announcement of a new film. However, the recent news regarding the upcoming romantic comedy, Pon Ondru Kanden, has stirred up some controversy and left its cast and crew in disbelief.

The film, directed by the Priya V Kamakshi, boasts a stellar cast featuring Ashok Selvan, Aishwarya Lekshmi, and Vasanth Ravi in the lead roles. Backed by the YSR Films and Jio Studios, it was treated as highly anticipated project.

But, the excitement quickly dissolved into sour atmosphere when Colors Tamil took to social media to share the official television premiere of Pon Ondru Kanden. This news caught everyone, including the film’s cast and crew, completely off guard as they were not informed of such development.

Vasanth Ravi expressed his shock and condemned the lack of communication expected from such big production house. While lamenting, he talked about the tremendous effort and dedication that was invested by the team into the project, only for them to be blindsided.

This controversy has raised the discussion concerning the treatment of artists and their involvement in commercial decisions. While, it is true that creators loose control over their work once it is handed over to producers, the least they can expect is transparency and acknowledgement.
