Despite the ban on pornography in India, some individuals continue to engage in such activities in pursuit of easy money. In Mumbai, a group of people was recently apprehended for producing adult content for sale on an adult platform known as ‘Pihu.’
According to the police, they received insider information about the production of adult content at a specific location in Andheri (West), Mumbai. During a raid, law enforcement arrested two women, aged 20 and 34, along with a 27-year-old man. These individuals are currently under interrogation, as the police seek to uncover more details about the individuals or groups responsible for managing their activities. It’s important to note that the arrested individuals were merely actors in the videos.
The videos created were shared on an app called ‘Pihu,’ which had a concept similar to OnlyFans. On this platform, people could share adult content in exchange for money and access to video and voice calls. However, the app has been removed from both the Google Play Store and Apple’s App Store due to violations of Section 292 of the Indian Penal Code.
The police are also investigating other aspects of this case, including whether anyone was coerced into participating in such content. Further updates will be shared as the investigation progresses.
