NTR & Charan Invited; Rajamouli Left Out

Now it is the season of change for The Academy, from guidelines to new members, they are living the spring indeed. Though their last statement about the new criteria for the ‘Best Picture’ was no less than a controversy, this step made a bunch of fans a lot happier.

The 96th Oscars will take place on March 10th, 2024, and for that, they recently announced the panel of members being involved in the whole process. There are some new faces like Keke Palmer, Taylor Swift, and Austin Butler, who will be a part of the new 398 artists who are invited to join the membership of the Academy.

Meanwhile, India will also be providing their valuable assets to the Tha Academy, some of the brightest and bests will be joining as members. Ram Charan and NT Rama Rao will be joining the actor’s branch. K.K. Senthil Kumar, MM Keeravani, and Chandrabose will also be taking their expertise to the branches of The Academy.

Kranti Sarma, Siddharth Roy Kapur, Karan Johar, Sabu Cyril, Haresh Hingorani, and P.C. Sanath will also be joining them in the process.

But a real shock is coming from the Director’s branch. Mani Ratnam and Chaitanya Tamhane are deservingly taking a seat at the table of the bests but there is no invitation for SS Rajamouli didn’t receive the invitation. That’s a shocker for all the fans as he mesmerized the world with his creation RRR.

These new changes will raise the total strength to 10,817. Of which 9,375 will be eligible to vote. Some big names made the list, some missed it, but by no means it questions their ability or how great they are.
