Renting Property In Hyderabad Turns Costly!

Renting a home in Hyderabad has become increasingly expensive. While tenants struggle with rising costs, landlords are benefiting from the sharp surge in rental prices across the city.

Rental rates in the IT corridor have increased by nearly 20 percent year-on-year. A 2bhk now costs around Rs 40000, while a 3bhk ranges between Rs 80000 and Rs 1 lakh. Maintenance charges are also rising alongside rents.

Another noticeable change is the absence of To-Let boards. Realty brokers now dominate the rental market, making it harder for tenants to find homes without brokerage involvement.

With property ownership becoming unaffordable, especially in hi-rise buildings and gated communities, demand for rental homes has surged. IT professionals prefer shorter commute times and better access to schools, hospitals, and infrastructure, pushing rents higher.

In Nanakramguda, rents have climbed from Rs 60000 to Rs 80000 and even reached Rs 1 lakh. In Madhapur, rental homes are priced between Rs 65000 and Rs 75000.

Areas like Manikonda, Kismatpur, and Kompally fall in the Rs 40000 to Rs 50000 range. In Tellapur, rents range from Rs 50000 to Rs 60000.

Young couples are facing the maximum impact of this surge. Many are struggling to cope with higher rents amid lifestyle changes and growing job insecurity.
