Instagram creators Sofiq and Sonali from Bengal are facing a serious situation after a private 16 minute video of theirs leaked and spread across platforms. They immediately filed an FIR with the cyber cell, stating that unknown individuals accessed and shared their personal content without consent.
Police registered the case under sections of the IT Act and have begun tracking the source. Early investigation suggests the clip first circulated in closed groups before spreading further. Officials also warned that sharing or forwarding private content without permission is a punishable offence.
This incident highlights how fast personal content can escape control and turn into a legal and emotional crisis. It also raises a larger concern about storing intimate recordings, as such files are vulnerable to misuse once leaked.
In a digital age where visibility and privacy exist side by side, people must stay careful. Sensitive photos or videos should be protected, and the decision to record them must be made with caution.
