Teen’s Bomb Hoax Grounds Flight!

There’s a very fine line between playfulness and malice. Children have a tendency to do mischievous things, but sometimes their actions cross boundaries, causing trouble for many people. A similar incident happened in Delhi where an act by a 13-year-old boy created chaos on a flight.

The incident occurred when an international flight from Delhi to Dubai was subjected to an extensive search after receiving a report of a possible bomb on board. In response to the report, security agencies boarded the plane, but it was later found to be a hoax with no bomb on the flight. The email that triggered the alert was traced back to Uttarakhand. The account was immediately deleted after the email was sent. When the investigating team reached the location, they were surprised to discover that a 13-year-old boy was behind the entire drama.

Upon inquiry, he revealed that he did it for fun and to see if he could be traced. After sending the email, he became frightened and immediately deleted the account.

The boy had been given a mobile phone by his parents for study purposes, but he used it to create chaos. He told the investigating team that he was inspired by a similar incident that took place on a Canadian flight.
