Train Runs Over Platform

It seems that the Indian railway is in some kind of turmoil these days. Every coming day, we hear bad news. A few months ago, there was a major accident in Morris that led to the loss of many lives. On the 13th of September, a fire broke out in 2 coaches of a train coming to Varanasi. And now, the recent accident is from Matura, UP, where a train climbed onto the platform instead of running on the tracks.

According to reports, an EMU coming from Shakurbasti went directly onto the platform, putting its passengers in danger. The incident happened at night and created chaos all around. People started running in panic. The Railway Protection Force (RPF) was called to handle the situation as soon as the officials became aware of the incident.

The train that was supposed to be stationary suddenly started moving without sounding its horn and went onto the platform, colliding with a pole before coming to a stop. Fortunately, no one was seriously injured in the accident. The incident has resulted in the delay of many trains along the route. The actual reason behind the accident is yet to be known.
