Garbage On Vande Bharat Exposes India Civic Sense?

The Vande Bharat sleeper train was launched with pride and high expectations. Unfortunately, on the very first day, some passengers were seen throwing garbage inside the train. Later, the same behaviour often leads to complaints blaming the government for dirty trains. This reflects a worrying lack of civic responsibility.

A developed nation is defined not only by advanced technology but also by public behaviour. Public services are created for collective use, and maintaining cleanliness is a shared duty. Comparisons with foreign countries are common, yet personal responsibility is often ignored. Clean habits begin at an individual level.

Schools regularly teach children about hygiene and cleanliness. However, these lessons are frequently forgotten in everyday life. Adults must lead by example and teach children to use dustbins properly. Waste should never be thrown on roads, trains, or public spaces.

The government continues to modernise India through initiatives like Vande Bharat. Respecting these efforts is a collective responsibility. Treating public property as personal property can bring lasting change. Clean trains are a reflection of responsible citizens.
