Aravind shared his thoughts on social media as he said, “I think I should get a green card. Wdyt?”

The post gained attention after Elon Musk replied to it with a ‘Yes’ response.

The conversation between the two instantly hit a cord with Indians across the world, with many taking to the comments to express their opinions.

One social media user said, “At minimum, the US should make the EB-1A cap exempt in number. Would at least go towards solving the issue that the small set of highly skilled people don’t need to wait irrespective of their country of birth.”

Another user expressed empathy for Aravind as he commented, “The fact that you don’t have one yet, just shows how broken the immigration system is. I’m hopeful 2025 will be the year.”

Aravind had also previously expressed his joy at Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy getting spots in the Trump Administration, urging them to charge a higher fee for a more streamlined experience.

Elon Musk’s response to his post indicates the upcoming priorities of the Trump presidency to implement a more robust and strict legal immigration framework.
