Viral Shame: Outrage Over Indian’s Vulgar Vlog

Indian YouTuber ‘Malik Swashbuckler’ has triggered widespread outrage in Turkey after posting vulgar videos targeting Turkish women. Known by his real name Malik SD Khan, the Indian content creator posted a series of clips in which he made sexually inappropriate and derogatory remarks about local women, speaking in Hindi to avoid being understood by those around him.

In several now-deleted videos from Instagram and YouTube, Malik referred to Turkish women as “maal” and “item,” objectifying them openly. In another clip, he entered a store in Turkey and aggressively questioned the absence of the Indian flag, hurling verbal abuse at the shopkeeper. One video reportedly showed him asking viewers if he should assault his Turkish tour guide at night.

Turkish social media users quickly flagged the offensive content, sparking mass condemnation. The backlash led Malik to deactivate his online accounts, though his videos continue to circulate across platforms.

Reports from local media outlet Turkiye Today suggest that Malik has been taken into police custody, though authorities have yet to issue an official statement. His actions have deeply offended Turkish citizens and raised concerns about how tourists conduct themselves abroad.

The controversy comes at a time of already strained India-Turkey relations, following public calls in India to boycott Turkish goods and tourism over Turkey’s support for Pakistan on international forums.

Social media users in both countries have demanded accountability and stronger action to prevent such behavior from being repeated, as many view Malik’s actions as damaging not only to cultural ties but also to India’s global image.
