A viral review from a Bollywood fan might have done a better marketing job for Sky Force than its producers.
After an early screening of the latest Akshay Kumar-starrer, a fan was seen crying during his interview with the media. He commended the film’s climax and said, “I have never cried watching a movie, but I couldn’t control my emotions this time.”
The fan went on to commend Maddock films for their “unpredictable and unmatchable” adaptation of a martyr’s life and asked the government to make the film tax-free for everyone.
This might be the best reaction the makers could have hoped as the film has little to no hype around it. It was evident from the massive discount on tickets with prices going as low as ₹20-25.
While some social media users were moved by this heartfelt review, others had some hilarious remarks. A user commented, “If you even cut tax from ₹20 then what will be left?”
The video is making rounds on the internet. And coupled with extremely cheap prices for the Republic Day weekend, this might put more butts in seats for Sky Force.
