Woman Kills Boy Over Relationship Dispute in Delhi

It’s challenging to comprehend how someone could be so insensitive towards others. To what extent can someone go in the name of love? A recent news story emerged from Delhi in which a woman killed an 11-year-old child who was the son of her alleged live-in boyfriend.

The accused, named Puja Kumari, was in a live-in relationship with a man named Jitendra since 2019. The 24-year-old woman wanted the man to divorce his wife and be with her permanently. However, as days went by, her desire became increasingly challenging to achieve. After three years of living with Puja, Jitendra returned to his wife and 11-year-old child, realizing that his relationship with Puja might not progress. Enraged, Puja went to his house and killed his sleeping minor son, considering the child an obstacle to their marriage. She strangled the child and placed him in a box before fleeing. After the murder, Puja taunted Jitendra by saying, “I took the most precious thing from you…”

Although the accused was eventually apprehended and admitted to the crime, the case has devastated the family and people of Delhi, causing a sense of fear within the community.
