You Won’t Believe This Little Girl’s Reaction to Trying Indian Food in NYC

A touching video of a toddler’s first taste of Indian cuisine in a New York City restaurant has gone viral. The video, shared on Instagram by Bridget Coolick, shows the small girl’s emotions as she tastes several meals, creating an endearing and joyful moment.

In the video, a child called Sophia begins her gastronomic experience by eating papad for the first time, followed by avidly devouring pani puri. Unfortunately, she spills a piece of pani puri on the floor by accident, but this does not dampen her enthusiasm. Undaunted, she proceeds to eat dal tadka with rice and naan, her face beaming with delight and happiness.

When Sophia requests more, the mother’s satisfaction is shown in the post accompanying the video on Instagram. It has received more than 114k views and 4300 likes. Bridget Coolick describes her favorite meal, Lassuni Gobi, but admits that it was too hot for Sophia. The small daughter, on the other hand, adored the dal and naan.
