It has been only a day since Gautam Gambhir was announced as the head coach of the Indian cricket team and there are already countless suggestions to him on social media.
Several of these comments on social platforms is regarding the need to clear out underperforming players in the side.
Several netizens have been commenting that the likes of Shivam Dubey, Washington Sundar, and others who tend to be highly inconsistent must be cleared from the side.
At the same time, there is a demand to give regular playing time to the likes of Yashaswi Jaiswal, Abhishek Sharma, and others.
Considering Gautam’s ruthless nature when it comes to building his teams, the chances are that may of the current players in the squad might be ousted effective immediately.
Gautam has made his intentions clear by saying that only the best of the hardworking players will be included in the side.
Once Hardik, Surya Kumar Yadav, and Bumrah return to the regular side, we could see many cosmetic changes to the Indian cricket team in the upcoming editions of the ICC tournaments.
