Taking to X, Harsha Bhogle said the clip unfairly portrays Sooryavanshi as arrogant and disrespectful. He stressed that the youngster has always been polite and respectful during his interactions and warned that such manipulated content can harm a player’s reputation.
Several similar versions of the clip have also surfaced on social media platforms. Most of these videos attempt to present Sooryavanshi in a negative light, despite the absence of any evidence that he made the comments attributed to him.
In reality, Sooryavanshi and Virat Kohli are understood to share a positive relationship. Following the IPL 2026 final, Kohli reportedly congratulated the young batter for his impressive performances throughout the season.
