Shami Had To Prove, Why Not Harshit? GG Favoritism?

India have added fast bowler Harshit Rana to the squad for the third ODI against Afghanistan.

Harshit Rana has completed his rehabilitation at the Centre of Excellence.

Many Fans questioned why Harshit Rana was brought straight back into the Indian squad after recovering from injury instead of returning through domestic cricket first.

Several fans compared his situation to Mohammed Shami’s. if you’re injured & out of the squad, you must prove yourself in domestic cricket before getting another chance in the Indian team.

Harshit Rana’s direct return to the Indian Team setup has therefore raised questions among a section of fans.

The debate has also led to criticism of head coach Gautam Gambhir from some fans, who have accused the team management of showing favoritism towards the young fast bowler.
