RR’s Blunder: Beast That Destroyed Delhi Capitals

If there’s one thing this IPL season has taught us, it’s that anything can happen on the cricket field. And tonight, we saw something that will go down in IPL history.

Gujarat Titans’ chase against Delhi Capitals was about more than just winning; it was about making a statement.

If you were watching tonight, you would have felt it — the sheer dominance of Jos Buttler as he led Gujarat Titans to their first ever 200+ chase in the IPL.

Buttler remained unbeaten on 97 and though he didn’t quite get to a hundred, he made it look easy.

The way he controlled the game after Shubman Gill’s early wicket was masterclass.

But here’s the real kicker: Rajasthan Royals, are you regretting this yet? If you’ve ever questioned your IPL decisions, tonight should be your wake up call.

Jos Buttler – your former hero – is now terrorizing bowlers in a Gujarat Titans jersey after you released him and retained Riyan Parag. Yep, you read that right. Riyan Parag over Jos Buttler.

The match started with Delhi Capitals posting 203/8. But even that wasn’t enough to stop Gujarat Titans.

This was GT’s first ever 200+ chase and they made it look like a cakewalk.Buttler was the fulcrum, hitting boundaries at will, taking the game away from DC and ensuring Gujarat crossed the line with ease.

This wasn’t just about winning. It was about proving that Gujarat with their new look lineup and unstoppable momentum can take on anything, even a big total.

For Delhi Capitals defending 200+ totals had been their strength. They had never lost when posting 200+ scores in an IPL match.

Tonight? That record is broken. Gujarat Titans not only broke that record but made it their highlight reel.

From the moment Buttler walked in, you knew DC were always playing catch up.Even with pace bowlers like Starc and Mukesh , nothing seemed to stop Buttler from finding the gaps.

Prasidh Krishna’s 4-wicket haul (3/41) was the best for GT. Jos Buttler 97* – a near century but an innings that won the game.

GT’s historic win – first ever 200+ chase in the IPL.
