Less than 1%: Rohit Sharma Does the Impossible

Team India has been on a winning rampage, clinching victory from every opponent to cement their place in the finals of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.

While the breeze seems to be flowing in India’s favour, a couple of things have left the audience biting their nails in anticipation of something going wrong in the finals.

Although the team has won back-to-back in terms of matches, it has also lost 14 back-to-back tosses.

It has been 14 consecutive times now that skipper Rohit Sharma has had to make do with the opponent’s call to bat or bowl.

The internet found itself in awe after a social media user actually found the probability of India losing 14 consecutive tosses to just be 0.0061%!

The luck debate was also reignited after Travis Head got two divine saves in the form of dropped catches and unsuccessful runouts, although his time to shine was later cut short by a brilliant catch from Shubhman Gill.

Many on the internet are seemingly worried and fear that Team India may be going into the finals with accumulated bad luck over the last few games.

Now it is up to Rohit Sharma and the Men in Blue to prove these allegations wrong, bringing home another ICC trophy with their usual outstanding performance and a stroke of good luck.
