QDK Joins WI: Targeted Attack Against India?

A fresh controversy has emerged after comments from international cricketers about travel delays from India. Earlier, several West Indian players had posted emotional messages on social media expressing a desire to return home to their families despite staying in luxury hotels.

Now some South African players have also voiced frustration online. Cricketers such as Quinton de Kock and David Miller shared posts about being stranded in India. Their concerns relate to delays in travel arrangements following the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.

The situation reportedly became more sensitive after the England team received a direct flight home soon after their tournament exit. England had lost the semi final against India. Meanwhile, South Africa and West Indies players were asked to wait longer.

Quinton de Kock also shared a message on Instagram criticising the ICC for not providing clear information about their return to South Africa. In his post, he suggested that the governing body appeared to favour wealthier cricket boards such as the ECB.

Many Indian fans responded strongly on social media after these remarks. Some users criticised international players for not fully understanding the seriousness of the current geopolitical situation. Others explained that arranging flights to England may be easier than organising routes to South Africa or the West Indies.

The debate grew further as several players raised similar concerns around the same time. Some observers questioned the sudden wave of criticism. A few social media discussions even speculated about outside influence, though there is no confirmed evidence.

According to recent reports, travel arrangements for the teams are now being finalised. Officials are reportedly working to ensure that all players return home safely. The extended stay in India is expected to end soon once flights are completed.
