There is no doubt about the fact that Ravindra Jadeja, as a player, has been invaluable to Team India in all aspects of the game.

Often considered the best all-rounder in the Indian team, Jadeja has saved the team multiple times from clutch situations, converting losses into wins, especially in the red-ball format.

But it seems like the last few months haven’t gone his way. The legend, although still in the best shape ever, has been quiet with both the bat and the ball for a few months now.

In his last 12 test innings, Jadeja has gone wicketless a total of 5 times! Not only that, his batting performance has also declined significantly, with him not being able to cross even 30 in the last six innings.

With a bowling average of 35 and a batting average of 23, Ravindra Jadeja seems to be going through a rough professional patch of his own.

With such a quality player not able to stand up to the mark so many times, one begins to wonder whether it’s finally time to replace Jadeja with someone who can contribute much more to the team, just like Jadeja once used to do.
