This year’s IPL has been nothing short of extraordinary, with the so-called classical winners struggling to live up to their names while the so-called chokers make their way up to the top.
RCB’s story has been particularly remarkable, as they have shown their massive potential to secure their spot at the second position of the points table.
Interestingly, a recently released poster by Star Sports has revealed that those teams who have finished 2nd in the points table have won the most number of times, 8 to be particular.
Even the table toppers have not been so lucky over the years, grabbing the title just 5 times.
Seeing RCB’s current form as well as the determination of its players, it doesn’t take rocket science to predict that there are high chances for this trend to continue, as ‘Ee Sala Cup Namde’ finally seems to be closer than ever.
With anticipations at an all-time high, it will be interesting to see if RCB manage to live up to the expectations to finally end their 18-year-long trophy drought.
