RCB Fans’ Cheap Strategy: Ruining Virat Tribute?

Virat Kohli has been nothing but a phenomenal test player for India. So it was only natural that fans would want to give their star player a deserving farewell by deciding to wear white jerseys during RCB’s match against KKR on May 17th.

While many fans are excited about this, some have expressed their concerns regarding the white ball being lost in the sea of white, leading to dropped catches in the game.

Many RCB fans seem to have decided that they would only wear whites before and during the game when KKR is fielding. They would switch to coloured jerseys when RCB comes out to bat.

But won’t this be a complete violation of the spirit of the very game Virat Kohli built his empire upon? Definitely yes.

While the RCB management has downplayed the impact of the white jerseys, several RCB fan clubs have already begun requesting the crowd to come wearing colours.

But the people seem adamant. They are ready to sacrifice one game if it means that their star and idol would get the goodbye he has earned.

With excitement at an all-time high, it will be interesting to see if this movement actually turns out to be true, and does Virat step up to the occasion to give a masterclass batting performance to thank his fans as well.
