RCB Event: 11 Dead; Will Virat Kohli Be Arrested?

What was meant to be a historic celebration turned into a nightmare.

During Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s IPL 2025 victory parade outside Chinnaswamy Stadium, a massive stampede claimed the lives of eleven people—including a child—and left more than 45 injured.

Thousands gathered to cheer for RCB’s first-ever IPL trophy win. But poor crowd control and lack of proper planning led to chaos.

As the crowd surged forward, panic spread, people fell and were trampled in the stampede. Emergency teams rushed victims to nearby hospitals, but several couldn’t be saved.

This can be compared to a case that happened a few months ago. In December 2024, a similar incident occurred in Hyderabad, where a woman died during a stampede at a movie event.

In a shocking and widely slammed move, Allu Arjun—who had no direct role—was bizarrely arrested and held responsible.

Now, the big question being asked across social media is—will the same bizarre logic be applied here?

Will Virat Kohli or the RCB team be arrested next, despite having nothing to do with crowd management?

Will the RCB franchise, like Allu Arjun, be made a scapegoat for what was clearly a failure in planning and control by the security, event organizers and local authorities?

With eleven lives lost in what was supposed to be a joyous occasion, this incident has sparked outrage across the nation.

The celebrations that were meant to mark a new era in RCB’s legacy are now stained with grief.

This tragedy is a grim reminder that fame, excitement, and success can never come at the cost of human lives.
