RCB vs SRH in Court: Petty Lawsuit Over YouTube Ad

The Royal Challengers Bengaluru have decided to play it dirty, filing a lawsuit against Uber and Travis Head in Delhi High Court for allegedly disparaging their name in a YouTube ad.

The whole lawsuit is based on the 59-second-long ad that shows Travis Head spray painting “Royally Challenged” before Bengaluru as he warns the city of the imminent domination of SRH.

While teams and players often roast each other, promoting the spirit of the game, the RCB management has gone out of its way to act like a coward who is finding it difficult to swallow a little bit of off-field roast.

Filing a lawsuit for something that could have easily been handled by a similar ad from their side, the top brass have played their part in trying to ruin what ultimately is just a form of entertainment for the public.

The franchise must remember that their on-field performance, and not these kinds of shenanigans, will work to determine their greatness in the books of cricket history.

With the judge reserving his statement, it will be interesting to see whose side the court decides to take in the next hearing.
