Major Blow to CSK: MS Dhoni’s Evil Plan?

Chennai Super Kings has been going through a particularly rough phase with most of its batters going out of form.

It seems that another shocking incident has hit the side now with captain Ruturaj Gaikwad potentially being ruled out for the rest of the IPL due to an elbow injury.

While more specifics have not been revealed as of now, it seems highly unlikely that the CSK skipper will be able to enter the field once more this season.

This means that former captain MS Dhoni will once again have the team’s responsibility on his shoulder, acting as its captain for the rest of the season.

Ruturaj being out of the season is the last thing CSK would have wanted to hear, especially after most of the batters being in the poorest of their forms.

Many Dhoni haters have claimed this to be a conspiracy fabricated by MS Dhoni to get Ruturaj out as a captain so that he can once again lead CSK to another year of glory by giving them an unbelievable comeback under his captaincy.

While similar news about Ruturaj’s injuries has been floated in the past this season, it will be interesting to see whether this turns out to be a real concern for the Super Kings or yet another PR stunt to maintain distraction from their failing on-field performance.

We will have to see the impact Ruturaj’s absence will have on the side, along with Dhoni’s plan to take the team ahead during this season of the IPL.
