Love Has No Limits: “Is Your Mom Single?” Wildcard Proposal

Ryan Rickelton Fan Poster Goes Viral

A cricket fan has come up with a question for South African wicketkeeper Ryan Rickelton, but it is not about cricket.

During the third Test between South Africa and Australia, a fan was spotted holding a poster asking Ryan Rickelton, “Is your mom single?”

The fan was sitting in the stands with a handmade poster that had Rickelton’s name written on it, along with the question and a pink heart.

The camera caught him holding the sign during the match, and the moment took another turn when he realised he was on the big screen.

Instead of hiding the poster, the fan started blowing kisses towards the camera. He then removed his sunglasses and cap, smiling as the camera continued to show him.

While the fan seemed to enjoy the attention, many viewers may find the question inappropriate, especially when Rickelton was busy playing an international match.

Rickelton was keeping wickets for South Africa when the incident happened. He appeared to notice the message on the big screen and responded with a small smile before getting back to the game.

The commentators also reacted to the fan’s unusual question. The clip has been shared on social media, where the incident has sparked discussion about whether such personal questions are appropriate at a cricket match.

Fans often bring signs to matches to support their favourite players, but asking a cricketer whether his mother is single is a different matter.

What the fan may have considered a joke has also been viewed as shameless behaviour, given that the player was representing his country on the field.

The incident took place during the third Test at Newlands in Cape Town, with the three-match series level at 1-1 before the decider.

"Not sure he’s putting his best foot forward." 🤣

Crazy things are happening on the grass banks at Newlands 😆
