Chennai Super Kings have been dealt with a shocker of sorts after their star player Devon Conway has been ruled out for the entire season. He has been sidelined due to an underlying medical condition.
Since his joining in the side, Conway has been one of the most consistent players for CSK and he was an integral part of the victorious run in the tournament last season.
After getting injured earlier, Conway missed the opening part of the ongoing season of IPL and the team played Rachin Ravindra in his absence. Ravindra looked in fine form in the tournament.
Now, in a shocker, Conway has been ruled out for the entire season and he is no longer a part of the CSK side. His fractured thumb has kept him out of the tournament for the first half. While fans hoped he would return for the second half of the season, that isn’t happening as he has been ruled out for the entire season.
CSK have roped in England pace Richard Gleeson as his replacement.
