Trophy Greed: RCB Playing With National Security?

It is not a hidden fact that the IPL is the biggest festival of cricket celebrated for over 2 months each year in India. Teams like RCB, CSK, and MI, with their highly passionate fan bases, are what bring the ultimate spark to the game.

But sometimes, the demands of these fanbases can get so high as to interfere with national security.

According to sources, the government has decided to shift the civil mock drills, scheduled to be held on 29th May in Punjab to June 3rd, keeping in mind the requests of RCB fans who want to see their team win today’s game vs PBKS in Punjab.

Although we understand how important this game is for RCB fans, they should remember that no cricket game is more important than the national security and war preparedness of our nation, especially during such tumultuous times.

The need of the hour was for the RCB fans to set their love for the team aside and insist that the drills be held the very same day. But it clearly did not come to anyone’s mind.

With the drills now scheduled for June 3rd, RCB fans will wish that their team makes full use of this opportunity to defeat Punjab on their own home turf.
