There is a viral video going around on social media, and this is a message from an anguish fan to his fellow CSK fans and Dhoni himself.
“Dhoni knows full well that all the hype surrounding Chennai’s games are around him. Even last night, he had the chance to come out to bat at the 13th over, but he did not. He came in the final few overs. Dhoni wants the crowd to big and cheer for him before he finally comes out.”

People are paying double and triple the ticket money to watch him, and this has been happening for a while. It is time for him to retire at this point. There is no need to create so much hype with such planning. This craze will go down very soon.” This anguished fan commented.
While the frustration of the fan is to be understood, there is one another point that can be noted here.
Dhoni is 43 years old now, and he had been playing for nearly 20 years now. This sporting run would have taken a toll on him physically.
