Why Nitish Reddy? Why Not Tilak Varma?

The Indian cricketing scene has witnessed two of the greatest exponents from the Telugu land in the form of Tilak Varma and Nitish Kumar Reddy.

However, the Telugu community has started to own Nitish Kumar Reddy far more than Tilak Varma and here’s a look into this story pertaining to the two youngsters.

The point of difference here is that Nitish Reddy is a native Telugu player, same like Tilak Varma. However, Nitish plays for SunRisers which is a Telugu centric franchise and this is the reason why Telugu people are owning him far more than Varma.

On the other hand, Varma plays for Mumbai Indians which is an opposing team for the Telugu community. Talent wise, they are very identical and have a similar attacking game play as well.

But the difference here comes from the Telugu centric IPL team of SunRisers which Nitish Reddy supports. This is what appears to be working very much in his favour.

But what that matters here is that both the Telugu youngsters are absolutely gunning in the national circuit. This is a golden phase for the Telugu cricketing scene with multiple young talents coming up.

While Reddy is promising to be an all-former player for India, we have Varma who is a limited overs specialist.
