IPL vs WTC Final: Star Players Missing in Action?

The Indian Premier League is finally being resumed, thanks to the ceasefire between India and Pakistan.

While the resumption has brought joy to several cricket fans, many are worried about the new timeline and its potential closeness to the date of the WTC Finals.

While the IPL is set to have its finals on 3rd June, the WTC Final is set to take place on 11th June, eerily close to the former.

This has raised a scare about the Australian and South African players not being able to take part in the tournament due to national commitments.

While nothing is confirmed as of now, clouds of uncertainty continue to loom over the presence of players like Stubbs, Jansen, Rabada, and Rickelton for the remainder of the season.

It will be interesting to see how things progress as the IPL kickstarts its course to finish a season that has been the most unusual of all.
