According to trade reports, GBU has crossed Vidaamuyarchi’s lifetime bookings on the Book My Show ticket booking platform in just three days of its theatrical run.

Following this, netizens on social media started trolling Lyca Productions and commented that Lyca Productions had carefully picked and produced the worst movie of Ajith Kumar (Vidaamuyarchi) in his line-up.

Also, whenever Lyca Productions collaborated with a star hero, the movies resulted in a terrible disaster, and this indicates that Lyca Productions still doesn’t have the basic knowledge of script selection and the pulse of the Kollywood audience.

Even Mythri Movie Makers, a Telugu-based production company, has a basic knowledge of which film will work amongst Kollywood audiences and has produced Ajith Kumar fans’ favorite GBU as their debut movie in Kollywood.

But Lyca Productions has been in the industry for almost 11 years and is still choosing and producing the worst movies of the actor, say Kollywood audiences.

It remains to be seen how GBU is going to perform in the box office collections in the following days and whether it becomes the highest-grossing movie of Ajith Kumar’s career.
