Amaran’s Controversy: Genuine Or Publicity Stunt?

Sivakarthikeyan’s Amaran is all set for a worldwide theatrical release on October 31st as a Diwali special. This movie holds lots of expectations among the audiences as this movie was based on real-life incidents of the late Major Mukund Varadarajan.

Amaran was directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy, who was recognized for his debut movie Rangoon, and this is his second movie. This movie was produced by Kamal Haasan’s Raj Kamal Film International, and the musical album of this movie was composed by GV Prakash Kumar.

The trailer for this movie was released a few days ago, and the audiences who watched it were showered with positive responses. Also, Sivakarthikeyan’s appearance as an army officer is compelling, and the audience appreciates his transformation for the movie.

In this scenario, recently, an unwanted controversy has popped up against Amaran, as Major Mukund Varadarajan is a Brahmin, whereas his wife, Indhu Rebecca Varghese, played by Sai Pallavi, is a Christian.

In the trailer, only Indhu’s Christian elements were shown, and not even conveyed that Major Mukund Varadarajan was a Brahmin, and that was not fair while taking a movie based on real-life incidents of a person, says one set audience.

For this, many audiences were commenting on their social media that this isn’t even necessary for a movie, and a few people popped up this controversy just to say something against the movie.
