The most celebrated director of Kollywood, Vetri Maaran’s Viduthalai 2, starring Vijay Sethupathi and Soori in the lead roles, is all set for a worldwide theatrical release on December 5th.

Although Viduthalai Part-1 was critically acclaimed and many critics and audiences appreciated it with positive responses during its release, this movie was a decent hit in theatres only in Tamil Nadu, but in other states, it ended up as a flop venture.

According to reports, distributors of Telugu states acquired the theatrical share of the movie for around 1.5 crores, but the movie collected only 1 crore and ended up as a disaster in Telugu states.

Even though many people celebrate Vetri Maaran’s movies, many people don’t want to watch them in theatres, it seems, as most of his movies were only a decent hit in the box office collections, according to the trade experts.

However, Viduthalai Part 2 has a lot of expectations among the audiences, as Part 1 was critically acclaimed. Also, in Part 2, Vijay Sethupathi is said to be the main lead of the movie.
