Dhanush Going Mass After Kara? But Director Sparks Panic

Following the disappointing performance of Kara, Dhanush is currently focusing on a spy action thriller tentatively titled D55. The film is being directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy and its shooting is progressing at a rapid pace. Reports suggest the makers are targeting an October release.

Apart from D55, Dhanush also has an exciting lineup of upcoming projects. These include a historical film with Mari Selvaraj, a commercial entertainer with Tamizharasan Pachamuthu, and the highly anticipated sequel Vada Chennai 2 with Vetrimaaran.

Amid this busy schedule, strong speculation has now emerged regarding a possible collaboration between Dhanush and director Siruthai Siva. According to industry buzz, Siruthai Siva recently narrated a commercial entertainer script to Dhanush and reportedly received a positive response from the actor.

If the reports turn out to be true, the project could be officially announced in the near future. The speculation has already generated major discussion on social media platforms among Dhanush fans and Tamil cinema followers.

After the failure of Kara, several fans expressed concerns that Dhanush should focus more on commercial entertainers rather than rooted and content-driven films. Many believe the actor currently needs a strong mass film to reconnect with wider audiences and strengthen his market position again.

Supporters of this possible collaboration argue that Siruthai Siva still has the ability to deliver emotionally driven commercial entertainers despite the failures of Kanguva and Annaatthe. Some fans feel his style could work effectively in B and C centres if executed properly.
