Pradeep Ranganathan’s Dragon, directed by Ashwath Marimuthu, was released in theaters on February 21st and has been a rampage at the box office collections.
Even before the release of Dragon, Ashwath Marimuthu announced his next project with Silambarasan TR, which is tentatively titled STR 51.
Recently, at an award function, Ashwath Marimuthu stated that STR 51 would be a treat for STR fans. He mentioned that the faith STR has in him is the major reason this project is happening, as STR signed this project, even before the release of Dragon.
Ashwath also expressed his determination to deliver a blockbuster success, at least to honor the trust Silambarasan TR has placed in him.
Furthermore, he mentioned that the shooting of this project will likely start in September, and he promised that STR 51 would be a mega treat for Silambarasan TR fans.
Following this announcement, Simbu fans on social media started celebrating. They believe that STR 51 already has huge expectations among audiences, and Ashwath Marimuthu’s confidence in the project is further fueling these expectations.
It remains to be seen how STR 51 will shape up, whether Ashwath Marimuthu delivers a compelling movie on his promises to STR fans, and whether the movie becomes a blockbuster success upon its release.
